Hunter's Panoramic Guide from Niagara to Quebec.
Published 1867, Montreal, Canada by C.R. Chisholm.
66 pages. Text in English. Illustrated throughout. Huge folding wood engraved panoramic river map at front (approx. 136 inches, so over 11 feet).

Map is split into two sections due to weight of it folded stressing paper when unfolded, some fold lies with splits of varying length, all flaws easily repairable.

Publisher's cloth binding, gilt title lettering, embossed & gilt cover decorations.

Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition.

Binding age worn, spine ends and tips of covers cloth worn, cloth slightly mottled, mostly light or inoffensive signs of handling and time but nothing severe or unsightly, book remains overall attractive as an object.

Paper is gently toned, still clean, tight, sound internally.

Still attractive on the shelf. The book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in overall nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws which may be present seem easy to overlook or forgive.
