Period 1/2 leather binding, raised & gilt bands, gilt ruled compartments, gilt title lettering, top edge gilt.

Binding remains clean, tight, and sound. 

Leather remains supple although small chipping at spine head as seen, joints are slightly scuffed, corners of covers worn and slightly bumped.

Still sound and very attractive 100 year old version of these classic tales.

Text block remains overall clean, and displays a pleasing age patina.

Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
