Detailed mid 19th century lithographed coastal survey. 

Printed on paper stock which is still relatively sturdy and supple, it has not toned and browned to the point of fragile like many other Gov. nautical charts of this era.

Reference includes dates of survey, as well as yearly tidal information. Shoals and sounding depths impart a unique visual quality.

Map remains worthy of display, small scattered signs of age and handling. Light toning/ browning along original fold lines which appears darker in the pictures than it does on the map itself. There is a slight bit of tiny loss along one of the horizontal fold lines near the left side due to the paper being a bit age browned, slight 1" closed tear from same inset area.
