Uncommon and pleasingly decorative large mid 19th century lithographed map of these two Great Lakes states. Vignette view of the "Straits of Mackinaw" at top right.

Engraved and lithographed with original hand color. Scarce imprint year, issued during the Civil War.

Nice looking example, pleasing age patina, light soiling and small scattered dot-like spotting, short closed split at base of centerfold (invisible when viewing), any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
