Various mostly small or unoffensive paper flaws, some loss to a couple corners, closed tears, old paper repairs on reverse, partially mounted to larger manilla paper backing sheets.

The attraction of this unique matched pair of portraits by one of the great engravers of the era is in their shared age patina and early hand color. While less than perfect condition and showing some noble signs of age, both remain entirely suitable for framing and display.
