(Old Prints, 19th Century Prints, Americana, World Times, Washington D.C., London, Vienna, Constantinople, Chicago, Beijing, Delhi, Paris, Berlin, Rome).

Issued 1887, Philadelphia by Bradley, successor to S.A. Mitchell. The imprint below the image neat line gives a date of 1864, indicating an uninterrupted use of the printing image since that time as found here on this 1887 late (final) example before disappearing from printing usage.

Fine oversize late 19th century lithographed print, with original hand color.

The colors represent various nations of the world according to the color coded key below the diagram. All the clock faces show different times, a delight of imaginative thematic (time) cartography.

This late Mitchell print was issued by Bradley for a short period before disappearing from publication.

Attractive example, clean, pleasing age patina, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
