Interesting 19th century antique engraved map with original outline hand color.

Of historical note for the color coded key across the bottom which identifies the countries by their religious affiliation. These are "Mohammedism" and  "Buddhism". Nothing more. Colonial possession identified by color key as well. New Holland seen lower right edge, outline of Alaska & Aleutian islands top right.

There are numerous states or variant issues of this map, this example with calligraphic flourishes around the title at lower left.

In VG, clean condition. Some minor, trivial toning, mostly along the margins.
