Issued Paris, 1910.
Beautiful early 20th century antique photogravure print.
Depicts the workshop (atelier) of a fashion designer directing adjustments to a woman's dress.
Splendid little known image, the model's torso reflected in the mirror, two beautiful assistants in long dresses beside her, the designer in cape with long wand-stick pointing out details, the image an Art Nouveau photographic masterpiece.
Paper and image remains clean and well preserved with a fine patina and visual appeal. Beautiful soft visual quality to the image utterly unique to photographic images of this era printed via photogravure methods.
Sheet measures c. 12 1/4"H x 9 3/8"W.
Printed area measures c. 7"H x 7"W.
